Homemade Tartar Sauce

Savory, crispy fish begs to be dipped in tart tartar sauce. It’s a rule of thumb that a cool sauce counteracts panfried meat perfectly. If you think you don’t like tartar sauce, still try this...homemade is ALWAYS the gold standard for things like this! It’s equally delicious with roasted potatoes or fried eggs if you have leftovers.

Ingredients:

1/3 cup good quality mayo

1/2 cup greek yogurt

juice of half a lemon

2 tablespoon diced dill or bread and butter pickles

1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

1 teaspoon dijon mustard

1 garlic clove, grated

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a jar or other airtight container. Enjoy!
