Maple Roasted Sprouts
These languishing sprouts got the same treatment as the pumpkin for the sake of simplicity and they turned out perfectly moreish in their own right. Is it just me that loves the little burnt bits left on the pan? You can mix these in the same bowl as the pumpkin one right after the other, but bake them on separate pans so you can take them at the right time.
Ingredients:
1/2 pound brussel spouts, cleaned and quartered
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment and place your brussel sprouts on top. Pour the olive oil and syrup on top and rub to coat. Sprinkle the salt on top and pop the pan in the oven.
Roast for about 20-25 minutes until the edges of the sprouts start to brown and the center of the sprouts are tender.
