Milk Chocolate Ice Cream

Do you remember Wendy’s frosties? They had that smooth milk chocolate flavor that was irresistible. Well, this ice cream tasted like the best version of those! We make a weekly batch of ice cream and 90% of the time this is the requested flavor. We keep a little ice cream toppings staion handy to pull out so everyone can top their scoops to their delight! Since this is a father’s day issue, we went with peanut butter cups, unreal gems, and sprinkles. I mean, how nostalgic and delicious is that?

Ingredients:

2 egg yolks, separated from the white

2 cups whole milk

2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 ¼ cup of sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

⅓ cup cacao powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

optional 2 scoops collagen

Toppings:

mini chocolate chips

sprinkles

peanut butter cups

unreal gems

peanut butter

berries

whatever you love!

Directions:

In a blender, blend all of the ingredients together. Pour into your ice cream maker and churn for about 30 minutes. We use our ice cream maker weekly and have never regretted the investment! Once it’s a soft serve consistency, you can eat it as is or pop it in a glass tupperware container to store in the fridge.
