Cinnamon Vanilla Ice Cream
Everyone needs a no fuss, can be made in our sleep recipe for vanilla ice cream. I went a little higher on the cream proportion in this recipe because it pairs so well with the warmth of the cinnamon. It makes the perfect topper to whatever warm dessert you may be serving this month! We like to crumble up any leftover cookies we have laying around and mix it through after it churns. Better than Ben & Jerry’s!
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
2 egg yolks
2 scoops collagen
1 cup coconut sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon vanilla powder
(optional, but oh so good!)
1 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon
Directions:
In a blender or a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients together well until the sugar has begun to dissolve. If I’m using a bowl, I like to whisk the egg yolks, vanilla, and sugar together with a splash of the cream to dissolve the sugar before adding the other ingredients.
Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker. We have this one and use it weekly!
