Dilly Dip

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, often we feel that home cooked food is lacking when compared with restaurant food but adding a sauce changes everything. Think of your favorite restaurant meals, I’ll wait. I’m willing to guess that there is a sauce of some type involved? Yes? Ah, I thought so. Luckily, homemade sauces are incredibly simple to whip up with a few staples. My favorites are yogurt and herb sauces that add a bit of pep to meat dishes and add excitement to veggies. This one perfectly pairs with the merguez above and mellows any heat from the spices. I hope you love it.

Ingredients:

1 cup greek yogurt

1/2 teaspoon salt

juice from 1/2 lemon

a dash of garlic powder (or fresh garlic if you can handle the kick!)

1/4 cup dill

1/4 cup other herbs such as basil, cilantro, parsley, etc.

Directions:

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend it up until a nice light green color! Dip and drizzle to your delight!
